The wood grain is stunning on this quarter sawn oak please note it has been lovingly restored with a pigmented stain and shellac finish. Please note that it has not been refinished to remove all the blemishes that a desk of this age would show. The drawer bottom had to be replaced due to past damage. In keeping with the piece the drawer bottom was replaced with reclaimed antique oak.
